Introduction

This blog is being started as a place to post my opinions, observations, and researched facts on some of the most challenging problems that face the United States today. These entries will be made based on my personal experiences in this country from the time of my birth (1968), right up to the present day.

A little background on myself, as I said, I was born in 1968 on the south-side of Chicago to an Irish Catholic Mother, and Swedish Lutheran Father. I, along with my younger Sister were raised in a middle-class family and taught a solid work ethic. I have a large extended family on my mothers side, she was the oldest of nine, but my Father was an only child. Through this extended family I have gained much knowledge and experience.

I have been in law enforcement, the U.S. Army, several trade unions, and have had my IQ tested as "highly superior", for whatever that's worth. I've never put much stock in IQ tests, but I always had the feeling that most people don't have the same thought process as I do. That said, I'd like to start this blog off with one of the pressing issues of the day....illegal immigrants.
